Facebook has released a statement saying that while it allows “marijuana advocacy content,” posts promoting the sale of cannabis are not allowed. All dispensaries, legal or otherwise, are prohibited from providing phone numbers and street addresses, “regardless of state or country.” While violating Facebook’s policies may not be a violation of the law, Facebook can remove ads or cancel your Facebook and Instagram accounts entirely for such conduct.
